Five Things Friday (#29)

It’s Friday, but not just any Friday. It’s my last day of work before my 10 day trip to Ireland!!!! It’s finally here!!! So, on a housekeeping note, I’m not going to be around for the next 11 days. I would really like to post a Five Things Friday Ireland Edition but that’s all dependent on WiFi accessibility and time so I won’t make any promises. I can’t wait to take 5,000 pictures and share them all with you when I get back!

In my absence, here are five things to remember me by:

1. Molly Costello on Etsy

Molly does beautiful cut paper pieces as well as some embroidery and screenprinting, all with uplifting messages about community and loving the earth.

2. @bestofnextdoor on Twitter

If you’re not familiar with the Nextdoor app, it’s a social media platform organized by neighborhood so that neighbors can keep in touch with one another about community events, yard sales, and things like that. If you are familiar with the app, you probably know it’s also the place for the middle-aged and elderly to really access their inner drama queen. I just recently deleted the app — there was some stuff on there that really offended me post-fire. But this twitter account brings me all the petty drama that I loved lurking on the app. Get out your popcorn.

3. Sarah Brust on Society6

Cute typography, great references, relatable content. What more do you need?

4. The Honest Trailer for The Greatest Showman

Friends, I cried laughing. Just watch it.

5. These cuties using Hadestown as their teeth brushing soundtrack.

That’s all for this week, folks! See you when I’m a seasoned world traveler!

I am a Ventura, California native with a compulsion to create. I'm a storyteller, through writing, photography, and occasionally music. Weekends are for camping with my husband, reading, and hunting for vintage treasures, which I sell in my Etsy shop, Peace & Goodwill. My favorite things include lavender lattes, swimming in the ocean, true crime podcasts, The X-Files, and Peaky Blinders. I hope to become a full-time writer, bestselling novelist, and a continually improving reflection of God's grace. Proverbs 16:24
