Five Things Friday (#26)

It’s Friday? Yesterday I texted my friend and asked how her weekend was without realizing that it was actually Thursday and the weekend hadn’t happened yet. I came down with a nasty cold and missed two days of work, so I’m all out of sorts. Today I’m finally feeling better. Hooray for that, and hooray for these five things!

1. These vintage Rogue One posters

I watched Rogue One on one of my sick days and it reinforced one of my most unpopular opinions: that Rogue One is the best Star Wars movie. Don’t @ me. The cinematography is beautiful, the cast is great, and it captures the feel of the original trilogy better than anything that’s come after Anyway, these posters are incredible and I want to buy them for my home. The artist’s name is Alexey Kot — here’s his twitter.

2. Honest Trailers: Every Wes Anderson Movie

*kisses fingers* poetic cinema

3. Flight 001

Flight 001 designs cute and functional items for travelers and I just adore their minimalist design. I just ordered a couple of things from them for my trip to Ireland next month (!!!) and I can’t wait to give them a try. Their products are pretty uniquely intuitive for frequent travelers, which I may not be yet (at least not a frequent flyer) but A GIRL HAS ASPIRATIONS.

4. Emma Mildred Riggle on RedBubble

I’m absolutely smitten with these illustrations. Books and flowers and all things I love in pretty colors and petite designs.

5. Sonia Cavallini on Etsy

Pretty paper goods are my weakness. I want it all!

Stay healthy this weekend, my friends! Thanks for stopping by.

I am a Ventura, California native with a compulsion to create. I'm a storyteller, through writing, photography, and occasionally music. Weekends are for camping with my husband, reading, and hunting for vintage treasures, which I sell in my Etsy shop, Peace & Goodwill. My favorite things include lavender lattes, swimming in the ocean, true crime podcasts, The X-Files, and Peaky Blinders. I hope to become a full-time writer, bestselling novelist, and a continually improving reflection of God's grace. Proverbs 16:24
