Five Things Friday (#9)

Is it me, or did this week completely fly by? I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween! We have officially begun the home stretch to Christmas and buddy, I am ready.

Here are five things that zoomed by my face this week.

1. These photos of Julia Child

These are from a new compilation of Paul Child’s personal photographs that I’m dying to get my hands on. Julia Child is revered in my family, and we love love love Julia and Paul. I’m never going to stop being sad that we didn’t get a full movie of Meryl Streep as Julia.

2. Tom Hardy’s Jack-o-lantern.

Posted on his website in true Tom Hardy fashion, with just a caption that said “Happy Halloween”. The man is an enigma.

3. This sweet baby’s Halloween costume.

And Leland Melvin’s response:

Excellent content all around. Good teamwork.

4. New stills from Peaky Blinders Season 4

A post from my PB blog a year ago:

A still released this week:

I might have screamed. It’s fine. Anyway, if you follow me over on my PB blog where I shriek about things you’ll know that I am firmly not happy with this show right now for reasons I won’t detail here, but at least they did this one thing right (they get this bit of continuity right but they can’t remember how old Polly’s kids are ok sure bye).

5. andMorgan on Etsy

This is a father-daughter team that screenprints t-shirts, tote bags, and towels, and all their designs are right up my alley.

I really need that cold brew shirt, but would settle for any of the others.

Well, I’m off to go camping and enjoy some chilly weather for the weekend! See you all next week. Thanks for visiting! 💖

I am a Ventura, California native with a compulsion to create. I'm a storyteller, through writing, photography, and occasionally music. Weekends are for camping with my husband, reading, and hunting for vintage treasures, which I sell in my Etsy shop, Peace & Goodwill. My favorite things include lavender lattes, swimming in the ocean, true crime podcasts, The X-Files, and Peaky Blinders. I hope to become a full-time writer, bestselling novelist, and a continually improving reflection of God's grace. Proverbs 16:24
